Malcolm D. Stow, 56, of Petoskey passed away Feb 2, 2003, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the United Methodist Church in Petoskey. Paster Robert Spencer will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Stow was born March 4, 1946, in Petoskey, the son of Clarence and Helen (Sackrider) Stow. He attended Petoskey schools and graduated in 1965. Mr. Stow served in the United States Army from 1965-1969. On Aug. 22 1970, he married Sheryl A. Swadling in Petoskey. Mr. Stow has worked for the Emmet County Road Commission since 1971. Mr. Stow is survived by wife Sheryl A. Stow, of Petoskey; two sons, Kory and his wife, Jackie Stow of Hill AFB, SD, and Tim Stow of Alanson; one brother, John and Velda Stow of Clare; two sisters, Nancy Denemy of Kalamazoo and Ann Athearn of Wolverine; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Stow was preceded in death by both parents, Clarence and Helen Stow. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Charles G. Parks Funeral Home in Petoskey.
